Event:
Florida State Florist Association
Date
June 12-14, 2015
Location:
Caribe Royale Resort, Orlando

Last week we had the pleasure of attending the Florida State Florist Association's convention. We were only able to attend on Sunday due to our busy wedding commitments on Saturday. The roster was full of amazing design from 3 very talented designers. To tell the truth, it is shocking to me that for the price, we had the pleasure to see such talent! I would like to share some of the designs that we saw there.
Here is a picture of Pim van den Acker with a piece I actually bought in the silent auction.  The structure is complete, we will only need to add flowers in tubes to use it repeatedly!

Those were a few of the arrangements that Pim created on stage while sharing his strong philosophy of designing with ease, not to over think and always create with a smile!

These pieces were done by Joyce Mason Monheim AIFD.  Joyce taught the crowd how to create party work while explaining the principles and elements of design!

Francoise Weeks showed us how she is able to create a very organic, natural, earthy look from the use of greens, succulents, wood and flowers for statement arrangements and wearable art.

Over the course of the day we saw 3 distinctively different styles and philosophies and as always, we were able to come home inspired by aspects of each designer.
